Independent art cinema
 
A celebrated independent art cinema in Covent Garden.
From initial concept design through to completion, the cinema was designed in an eclectic art deco style, using theatrical lighting and a rich palette of materials and moody colours to create an intimate, highly unique space. A striking centrepiece bar – as well as a variety of character spaces, alcoves and tunnels feature, as settings to digest and discuss films over drinks. A number of artists and highly specialised trades were brought in to realise many parts of the project, as the vast majority of elements and materials were entirely bespoke. The personality and approach of the owner was at the heart of the project –
so that the end result translated the client’s tastes and character into a concrete and effective vision.
